'The Vision of Xylopoop'
![]()
Heidi closed her lovely eyes thoughtfully and blew a large chewing-gum bubble from her exotic lips,
..... "POP! --- BANG!" --- ..... the bubble exploded! . . . . . . . . and a luminous ball of light emerged from within!
It moved through the air gracefully in the direction of the doctor and on reaching him it entered the opening of his stethyscope. The good doctor's face glowed all over, and he tingled with delight! quivering from head to toe with joy. His eyes shone with a pinkish light as he moved in slow motion across the hand-woven Chinese carpet, his purple slippers flapping at his heels, and his Plus-Fours fluttering like ship sails in the wind around his knees. He appeared to gaze with pink glass eyeballs at some point in the air about four feet from the wall, and I figured that he was receiving some incredible vision! I found it was impossible for me to move!! -- I was frozen in time!
Heidi's body was oscillating, vibrating, 2 maybe 3 inches above the leather material of the 'chesterfield'. Her eyes remained closed and smiling, as if she were in a state of ecstacy!
I myself was transfixed, mesmerised! tears ran from my static eyes at the beautiful sights before me, -- of the doctor, lights of hazy pink origin moving from his eyes, his hands held up in front of him, touching the air before his mystical gaze, his body surrounded by some flaming aura which fluctuated in time with my heart-beat!
To his right, the mysterious beauty of the levitating Heidi, her ecstatic features recalling a memory of religeous visions, --- the image of 'The Virgin', -- of the 'Statues of Ancient Greece', --- the 'Majest of Bygone Egyptian Cultures', --- the 'Buildings of the Maya and Inca' --- I passed into a twilight world of darkness, embedded with 'conical' shapes! Hebrew voices! the 'Temple of Artemis' --- and the 'Glory of Zues' and then --- nothing............ . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Heidi Levitating
Two Days Later . . . . . . ..
...The dust powdered up from my eyelids as I awoke with a sudden jerk! My eyes opened up involuntarily, instinctively perhaps?
My body felt like a 'Monk's Trumpet', and I gasped in confusion when I saw the calendar... "March 22" .... it was two days ago that I had knocked at the doctor's door!!
Fear gripped my elasticated thought-panels! --- "Where was Heidi" ???
--- I began to sweat profusely! ... where was the doctor ?? was it all a dream?? of course not, I wouldn't be caught by that foolish thought again. Has Heidi been TRANSMUTED!??? God! No!!! she can' t - t - - t . . . . .
. . . . . . . suddenly the door opened and they both walked in smiling.
OH! -- Thank God! I gurgled, spitting out a goldfish and several underwater plants!
. . . . . "Well, I was thirsty!" I said, placing the goldfish bowl back onto the table when I saw the funny looks they were giving me.
"What Happ-en--ed"? I asked, turning a 'double-six' domino in my fingers nervously. Heidi walked towards me as only she could, dressed in her red and white t-shirt, yellow shorts, and beach-shoes, -- and she was smiling with her chin held up showing the beautiful line of her jaw. She held her closed hand out towards me, "guess what"? she asked. Then, before I could answer, she opened her hand and uncovered the No. 6 Chubb Key. I gently turned her arm around and was pleased to see only the Crescent Moon with the three Stars, and an almost invisable line where the incision had been made.
